CAC = Total Sales & Marketing Spend / Number of New Customers Acquired. Include salaries, ad spend, tools, content creation, and overhead. Calculate blended CAC (all channels) and per-channel CAC to identify your most efficient acquisition paths.
2.The CAC:LTV Golden Ratio
Healthy SaaS businesses maintain a 3:1 LTV:CAC ratio. Below 3:1 means you're overspending on acquisition. Above 5:1 means you're underinvesting in growth. Track this ratio monthly and adjust spend accordingly.
